Ok I went awhile without using my T5 to discover in all the time of nonusage the battery drained. So I plug in the charger that came with it to charge it up. No worries about data lose because of the T5s coolness way of storing data.

But here is the problem. After leaving it charging for hours, more than enough time to charge it up, I unplug it but the lightning bolt showing its still plugged in stays and refuses to change on the battery bar at the top and also in the info panel that displays when you touch the clock at the bottom. Soft and warn resets don't seem to make a difference and this is the 1st time this has ever happened even when I've had the battery go completely down.

What can i do to fix this? The T5 doesn't even make the notice sound it made before when the charger is pluged in or removed even with all sounds at high. The speaker works because I hear everything else through it I do on it. The T5 does charge up but the battery display is just weirded out.

You might need to do a soft or warm reset WHILE plugged into the charger.

I believe i tried that. I'll give it a shot again.

I replaced my charger it got steped on and I believe was faulty and the T% wasn't regonizing it plugged in or removed correctly. I charged it up fully however I didn't try the soft and warm resets. Not ever 24 hours later with not using it it wouldn't turn on as if the battery had gone depleated. I'm going to try a soft and warm reset to get rid of the problem. In the even it doesn't work. After backing up my device with backupman, if i do a hard reset am I going to have to install the v1.1 update or does it retain the update after the hard reset?

It should retain the update (ita a ROM reflash!!). Good luck.

ok cool. It would seem this is what is going to have to be done. It thinks its got the charger plugged in because if I don't hit the power button on the top it stays on forever. Also I'm having trouble setting up the wireless keyboard I just got and think that is due with this too.

Ok hard reset complete. However it is still showing the lightning bolt on both battery indicators (top and in clock panel). And still acting as though its plugged in and doesn't auto off after the 30 seconds its set to.

This is so frustrating. On top of that I don't think its under warranty any more so I can't send it in to be looked at on top of that doing so would mean I'd be without it for some time too. GGGGRRRRRR.
