I am a MAC girl and realized that there was no
syncing with the TG-50 and my G4 out of the box. I scanned the internet and found a company called "Markspace" and they sell a software called "Missingsync". Well, I have to restart my computer and make sure I exit out of all programs excluding Palm to hotsync. With every 10 attempts, only one hotsync works. Any ideas??

You should try doing a search on this! I am sure that this has been answered before. Using the search feature on these kinds of forums is the key to really using the knowledge that has been archived here. Good luck.
P.S. Register and share what you learned.

Make sure you have the latest version (3.0.5, I think), and make sure the cradle is plugged directly into a USB port on the G4. I've been running MissingSync on OS9.2.2 and now 10.2.3, and on an old G3 Desktop and now on a G4 iMac - never a problem. I've used an N760C and now have a new TG50 - all is well !!:)

I've been playing with MissingSync and my TG50 this afternoon, and discovered 2 things: 1) you need to make sure the TG50 is seated properly and completely in the cradle and 2) you need to have the TG50 "on" before you hit the HotSync. Otherwise, I, too, got the intermittent syncing described above.
Hope this helps . . .
