Is there any software that works with the TX that will remove duplicate entries. I sync with my work PC and my home PC (home PC is just to transfer files, everything else is turned off) but I get more duplicates than I would like still.

Thanks!

If you are using the Palm Desktop, you can follow this little Tidbit from Palm:
Palm Desktop Support (http://kb.palmone.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,Kb=PalmSupportKB,ts=Palm_External2001,Case=obj(28466))

If you are using Outlook, you can change the view, depending on which one it is that you are looking at ie. Calendar, Contacts, and list the items by date. Then use the field chooser to add the date that the item was created. You can then sort by this Item Created date, and eliminate all of the items created the day of the sync (use some judgement here).

The link the Palm Support document also tries to explain why duplicates happen. Hope that helps!! :)

I am assuming you are talking about duplicate PIM records.
Is there any software that works with the TX that will remove duplicate entries.
If you sync against Palm Desktop, there is a tool inside the Desktop that can find and remove duplicates. In the Palm Desktop, perform a menu Tools, Addins, Delete Duplicates. If you do not sync against Palm Desktop, I recall that there is a shareware tool that can do this on the handheld. Someone else will have to chime in with the details.

Now, as to how to avoid duplicates: I find the best advice is sync often. Before you make any changes to the desktop PIM information, sync. If you make any changes to the desktop PIM information, before leaving, sync.

Here's an app that runs on the PDA: UnDupe (http://www.stevenscreek.com/palm/undupe.html)

The other thing is explained in the documentation for Resco Backup...
Duplicates usually occur when you back up the compatability databases.
You can find out more info here: http://www.resco.net/palm/backup/aboutRBackup.asp
