Thanks for the links to the new Wifi update, great. Thanks for the new BT update great.

But the next issue is the ability to scan Wifi hubs with a Clie.

Friend has a iPac that spots wifi sites, perfect for War Chalking, but will the Clie NX get one?

Right, unfortunately there is really nothing available for the Clie.

card hardware does not support active discovery, I almost bought a sharp instead of NX for this reason alone, but 5600 wasnt available yet.

Actually the card is completely capable. I know someone who just bought one for his PPC and he found some drivers and a program that not only has a great sniffer but signal strength bars!!! So, it is supported by the hardware, just need the drivers. Sound familiar?????????

Hahaha, no I have seen it in person. I bought him the card from the Best Buy sale and he got it working with his Axim. He cam over last night and walked around my neighborhood searching for wireless hubs, actually found 2 of them!

Do you know if the CF driver is currently
capable of, or modifyable to talk to any CF devices?
If so, we might have some chances of putting together a WL100-based sniffer.

The CF Driver currently being beta tested is strictly for memory and maybe the microdrive.
