Hi, Does anyone use a anti virus on their clie? If so which one?
I have found a few that look to be good but I would rather hear the words of an experienced palm anti virus user as to which is the better program.
Thanks again.

As I understand it, you don't need a virus program because there are not any Palm viruses out there. It is a scare tactic of those greedy companies to get your moola. Save it for something useful. ;)

Palm viruses are very rare, most desktop antivirus software finds palm viruses so it's a good idea to just scan your files really quick with your desktop AV and you should be all set. The easiest way to avoid viruses on your palm is stay clear of warez, even then it's rare but you have a better chance with warez than you do with buying your software from a reputable retailer.

The only actual virus for the Palm Pilot is the Liberty Crack virus. Very rare. Just don't open it and everything will be fine.

If you really feel the need to scan your Palm for viruses, use Trend Micro's PC-cillin (http://www.trendmicro.com/download/product.asp?productid=2) . It is a free download and scans for all of the 3 (?) known Palm viruses.
Just practice safe beaming; abstinence is safest :)

There are three viruses targeting the Palm OS, but they are very obscure. Norton, McAfee, and most other anti-virus programs scan for them, so there is no need for AV software on your handheld if your PC is protected. Your greatest real-world threat is a software conflict or poorly written program that requires a hard reset to recover.
