1SRC Podcast 62 was originally intended to be part of this week's podcast 61. Once I recorded the segment, it was long enough for it's own show. Show 62 deals exclusively with 1SRC member JAmerican's editorial about LG, their licensing of the Palm OS, and the possibility of new Palm OS smartphone designs. Thanks for the extra podcast and in-depth discussion on my editorial. I will use your opinions to guide my editorials to come. I love writing about things like this and feel I can only get better through others discussing it. Thanks a lot :)

I'm not a real fan of "flippers" after having used the Kyocera 7135 which had the display on the top portion and the Graffiti area on the bottom portion. I had a hard time holding it and tapping on the top portion always felt funny (like the top would snap off). It would have been more useful with a QWERTY keyboard, but it had a number pad like the Blackberry 7100 series.

That's not to say that LG couldn't do any better. I'm sure that they can. The images that you have in your article look much better than the 7135, but I'm not sure I'd personally trade my Treo. Again, it comes down to personal preference. If I didn't have a Treo, I'd be using the small Audiovox flip phone that originally came with the Verizon plan.
