just curious to know, is it possible to multi task with Palm OS 5, and if not is it possible to upgrade the NZ OS 5 to OS 6 when it does come out?

The AMX kernel (the one that PalmOS is built on) allows for multitasking, but the license agreement they have prevents palm from exposing the multitasking API to 3rd party developers. Some use it anyway on Palm devices, but the traps for it are more tightly protected by Sony so you can't get to them. So the answer is yes, but not for user apps.

What is the point in that...? Does it give AMX a advantage that palm do not let developers create better apps..?
