pTunes screen toggle Help !

In pTunes there is an option where you can turn your screen off for some period time. But, the annioying part is, when you use 5 way navigation pad to turn volume up or to fast forward, the screen turn on along with key press.

Is there any way to prevent the screen turning on while using 5 way navigation ?

I have tried all option in pTunes to make this happen, but i found nothing.
