Check out Shadow. I know it will link to appointments and to do's, not sure about contacts.

As far as I can tell ShadowPlan (4.1.1) only links to datebook, todo, and memos and not all links are as cohesive as the todo links.

I still highly recommend the app.

I have downloaded Shadow, but as you said it does not link with phonebook contacts. But if it can link with to-dos, shouldn't it theorically be able to link to contacts? I'll post a question on the Shadow forum.

Outlining is sorely missing on the Palm desktop PIM.
