OK I got my VZ90 :D and I got me a MS. I have the English zip from hope un-zipped in a folder on my MS. And sonypinguin already installed some of the English apps for me before he send me the VZ90 big Thanks to SP. How do I install the rest of the apps from the hope zip and how do I know where to move them to? And how do I know which ones to install without duplicating the ones sonypenguin has already installed? I can see the MS in clie files and filez but I'm not sure where to move them to. And yes I am a NEWBIE so please bear with me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael

Hotsync the apps called Filez and McFile from the folder I sent you. Once you have those on your system keep the VZ on the cradle. Press the button that looks like a monitor and a PDA with red arrows crossing between. That is the data import icon. Once there, make sure the top right says MS for memory stick. After clicking the button on the bottom of the screen, there should be orange circles traveling back and forth and you should see the MS on your desktop as a drive. Take all the other files in the folder and drag and drop them into the MS. It doesn't really matter where. Now, disconnect by pressing the same button to connect.

On your VZ90, go to Filez. In Filez, go to view and edit. Once there, click on the MS. It should open in a heirarchy format. You should see all the files there. Start checking them in groups of 2-4 (with ones that look like they go together). Click the top left of the screen so the options will open. You will have the options to move your copy. I say Move them and a screen with all you memory sources will appear. Click on the one that looks like the PDA or "Internal". This will begin to transfer the files. Once you transfer all of them, exit Filez. Lastly, press the reset button on the bottom of the VZ next to the port. Walaa, you should have english apps now.

Yeah, if you haven't been using Clies for awhile or don't have an English one for reference, it is kind of hard.... ;)

True, especially in my case. I'm a first time clie user. But thanks to this great forum and to everyone's help I'm getting thing's figured out.
