I know, there are some thread about dead pixel. I am sorry if i repeat with the same thread.

But, I have a stuck pixel in ly LD, I was wondering if anyone here has the same problem and already tried to put in warranty to Palm.

I like to know how Palm react from this type of warranty.

Anyone have solution to repair it ? (I tried massage it, doesn't work)

Thank you, appreciate any replies.

If you can have your LD exchanged then do so.

However, you might want to give this fix a try. It's a flashing color video that you play on a loop for several minutes/hours. It's designed for the PSP but I believe you can play it with TCPMP.

Check it out at PSP-Vault (http://www.psp-vault.com/Article168.psp).

@Joel

Played the movies all night though, still gives me nothing. thanks for the info

Well, I guess I will try to live with it. I still have doubt to sent ot over Palm since I have past bad experience with TRG about sending it for warranty replacement.

Thank for the replies guys !

Palm customer care obviously sucks...

However, I had no problem gtting it exchanged(for an other unit with different problems) even though my T3 had just one dead pixel back then

What kind of camera do you have? You need to enable macro focus mode (to take close up shots) and try to keep your hand as steady as possible. Depending on the color of the faulty pixel (always white, always black or other colors), you can get a 320x480 white/black/etc. image and display it full screen in a picture viewer. On the camera, switch to program mode (usually P) and lower the EV (exposure) as far as it goes with the pixel still being visible. This will lower the exposure time and make the shot clearer.

@skaf

Thank you for your sugestion, Today Palm has emailed me and ask me if i want to sent it for repair or swap. Considering the cost of shipping and import fee and BAD exerience with my TRG handheld, I decided to sold my LD and buy another used ones ( cost me cheaper ).

I guess Palm didn't sucks that much, huh ???

Another dilema ??? switch to T5 ??? Worthed ???
