Transfer info from Palm Pilot to Clie

How can I transfer my info including all memos, address book and dates from my Palm Pilot IIIxe to my Clie NR70? Do I need special software or is this not possible at all? Appreciate anyones help.

1. copy your user directory on your PC to a safe place.
2. uninstall palm desktop for your IIIxe
3. install the Clie Palm Desktop according to instructions in manual
4. copy the 4 PIM app folders from where you copied your user directory to the clie desktop user directory.
5. Hotsync.
6. Now go and reinstall your Third Party apps.

Good luck and hold on, because you're going to have a boatload of fun with the NX coming from a IIIxe :-)

Just be sure that, when you do your hotsync to the clie, the files from your IIIxe Backup subfolder are not in the Clie Desktop Backup subfolder. That is how you get into trouble.

DanT: Beaming worked, but I have over 3 years of data - 100's of addresses and memos. That was my plan C that I was dreading!
