Movie Recorder

Has anyone had a problem with the movie recorder? I've had my NX70 for a couple of months... made a few recordings, been able to view mpegs converted fine... then the other day, tried to open the Movie Rec up and it gives me this message : Multimedia System Error- Error occurred in multimedia System. movie Recorder will abort. ??
Is there a way to delete and re-install? couldn't find a program on my Clie CDrom. I figured I would ask here before trying Sony, since they take so long or never, in my experience...

try a soft reset first. If that doesn't work, back up all your data and try a hard reset.

The recorder is stored on the ROM so a copy will automagically be on you Clie after the hard reset
