Palm M515 problems

Last year, I purchased a Palm Tungsten T and put my old M515 back into its box. Just before Christmas, I had reason to resurrect the old M515. There was no charge in the unit (I didn't expect there to be after 3 - 4 months). After charging the unit, I tried to turn it on. I get the Palm logo screen and after the a few seconds, the logo start to flash. While this is happening, I cannot switch off. I have tried several soft & hard resets and it is still the same.

Does anyone have any idea why this has happened, and how I can resolve it?

In suggest you drain the battery, recharge it fully and wake it up with a soft reset..!!!

I've drained the battery and tried both a hard & soft reset.

It looks as though it is stuck mid - reset.
