I've just recieved my new Sony DSC N1 camera with 8.1 megapixels, 3" touch screen panel. (lol I need to brag a little). Anyways this isn't why I posted this new thread, my question is, what was the best thing to do with your new battery? Should I charge it to full first before using the battery, or should I use the battery until it's depleted and then charge it full? I keep forgetting so I came to ask. Thanks in advanced.

Charge it first until its fully charged. After that you should only need to fully deplete it once or twice a year depending on what type it is. So, what type is it?

Dang... when I take photos I flow through batteries. One camera battery lasts about 200 photos depending on if I review any images for color histogram distribution. Thus I keep two batteries, one charged, one in use. When one goes out I swap. :)
