get a palm for cheap at staples

this is how i got my tx. at staples, they had a $60 instant rebate for the palm. also, the palm they are offering has a free hard case with it (warning: the hardcase package does not come with the standard leather cover for palms, so you may want to consider that if you prefer the leather flap).

and, you can get 12% off until saturday. this brought the price down substancially... i think i ended up paying somewhere in the vacinity of $230 for my tx, getting a free hardcase at the same time.

my store actually didn't have the instant rebate even listed, so ask someone there if they are offering it if you don't see it listed.

I see the 12% discount (in store only) thru Saturday, but in taking a TX to checkout (online) there was nothing whatsoever about a $60 rebate. :confused:

i dunno if it's everywhere or what... it may be that they only offer the rebate in the brick and mortor stores, and not on the net *shrugs*.

btw... sorry, i made a bad typo. the instant rebate is only $30. i typed $60 because it brought the price down to $260 and i was thinking of _that_ 60 lol.

looking on my receipt, it says "Instant Savings #19327 <-30.00>". maybe i just got a confused cashier and got lucky? i'm not sure... hopefully that number will be useful somehow.

I bought mine on 1/21 at Staples. Thought I was paying full price. Was pleased to see the instant rebate on the receipt!

Though it only came with the hard case, no flip cover.
