Someone over at Palm must have been listening to last night's 1SRC podcast because this morning, the official Palm TX keyboard driver has been posted for download (http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/universal_wireless_keyboard.html). The latest driver, 1.10, is only intended for the Palm TX handheld. Owners of the UW keyboard and older Palm handhelds (T5/T3/Zire72/Zire31) should continue to use the previous driver, 1.08.

Umm, T|C won 4 times. The Soft-Reset time is 7 sec, which is the lowest listed. Not the T|T3 with 8 sec. :)

Palm T|C looks like it matches the T|T5 but still not the loser. And its a keyboard device :).

Palm has gone to being a 3rd Party manufacturer of smartphones for wireless companies while PalmSource (the OS folks) are looking at Linux as an alternative. The long-anticipated Cobalt OS may not be a PalmOS as we know it now and Palm may have no real need for it anymore.

Still, if that is the case, maybe Apple shouldn't just license the PalmLinuxOS but should do a little acquisition with their not inconsiderable profits from iPod and look to providing a fully featured PDA/Multimedia device - a TigerOS pocket companion - a Cub, as it were.
