Can anybody tell me the Clie model chronology?

I was wondering if anybody can tell me the Clie model chronology, from the first model to the latest ones. It would be great if the version of the Palm OS could be included with each model number. Thanks in advance.

there you can find all the information on all CLIE models that have ever been made. Look under the "MODELS" tab for information. I am pretty sure they are all of them, but i may be wrong.

I think I'm close, but not sure. This used to be a lot easier, but I think this is close. I'm pretty sure the N710 was out before the S320, but everything else looks right. I'm not sure that the T615 came after the S360, but I don't know that's wrong either. Also, note that these are the US models only. The first color Clie was the S500, but was available in Japan only. All other Japanese models have been available in the US, but sometimes under a slightly different number.

As for the OS, the S300 and N710C were both 3.5S, with the S representing the fact that VFS was added. The S320, N610, N760, T415, S360, T615, NR70/NR70V, SL10/SL20/SL30, T655, SJ33, and SJ22 are all OS4.x, with most of those being 4.0. The NX60/NX70V, NZ90, and TG50 are all OS5.0.

This might be the site you were thinking of. I saw it a while ago and it took me forever to find it again. It has a nice tree showing all the different Palm handhelds and when they came out.

Thanks everybody for all the info. One thing I noticed. The T655 isn't on that Palm Evolution tree. Is that one the same as the T665?

I believe that 655/665/675 are the same, just released in different regions. (Asia/America/Europe?)

It looked like the S300, with the rails and everything, but it was blue instead of gray. The color screen was apparently awful, which is why it was never released in the US. It was a 160x160 screen, and apparently pretty dim. In spite of all that, a lot of Clie owners in the US wanted it pretty bad, but they were more than satisifed when the N710 came out. With the 710, it came out in Japan a month or two before it was released in the US, so a lot of people speculated that it also wouldn't be released in the US and that 320x320 was just to make the Japanese characters show up better. Thankfully, they were wrong about that!!
