Is there a program where I can select programs to automatically rotate the display to a specific orientation when opened, and also make it go full screen if it is not already?

No. Each developer determines which screen resolution(s) and rotation (if any) they wish their application to use. There is now a rotation application for square screens; don't remember the name though.

Yeah I know what program your talking about... but I know on mobile-streams landscape/portrait app you can do kind of what I want. Like you can tell it what programs to go landscape and which to go portrait... So, it must be possible to have an app do this right? What exactly I'm looking for is if the app supports full screen then I would like it to automatically open full screen if it is not already. And also, I would like to be able to define the orientation for each app, like how mobile-streams apps allow you to...

This would only be effective for apps that are written for HiRes+; not all of them are. It is also more complicated for both the end user and the developer if two versions (HiRes and HiRes+) are offered. A tour through posts describing folks with square screens installing the T3 files included with some applications should highlight this.

I have learned to live with the fact that many people do not read directions and as a result everybody has to settle with product closer to the lowest common denominator.

I know it would only be effective on apps that supoort hires+.... Thats why I said in my last post "if the app supports full screen" I would like to see some program be able to do this for the TX.
