Hello...

I realize that this topic probably has already been discusted but I am at a loss as to what to do!

I am attempting to set up Clie Mail on my UX50 using Bluetooth as the connection. I can establish a connection between the Sony Clie itselve and the Belkin Bluetooth device however when I attempt to send mail I get the message "Error: serial: timeout. Could be bad cable or faulty Modem. (0x0305)" Does anyone have any ideal what that is?

Let me explain what it is I'm attempting to do! I just downloaded and installed QuickNews thanks to recommendations here! After You've downloaded RSS Feeds it gives you the option to email them. I'm attempting to set that up but everytime i try to perform the function I get the message "SMTP: Unable to connect. Check server name and port number".

How do I figure out what my server name & port number are so that I can get this to work? As I said earlier... i am able to establish a connection between my device and the Belkin unit using Bluetooth but I don't know what the Server name or port number is.

All help and suggestions would be appreciated!

The server name and port number should be coming from your isp/email provider. For example, I use gmail. The outgoing mail server is smtp.gmail.com and the port number is 465 or 587. HTH!
