Remote Camera on US models

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if the US model PEG-TG50 came with the "Remote Camera" application? I went to BestBuy and checked their demo unit, I cannot find this application in the unit. Also wondering anybody tested it?

remote camera comes with it. it works pretty slick too. i tried it on the trv-80. it doesnt work on all bluetooth camcorders though. i have a trv 950, and it doesnt have the remote camera functionality.

Is sony planning on releasing any bluetooth still cameras in the near future? That would be really great too for long exposure shots and those where you dont want to be touching the camera and moving it too much. I would love to see that.

One more question. While using the Remote Camera to control the DCR-TRV 80 camcorder, do you see the live video on the TEG-TG50? Or it will only refresh couple frames per second? And what function of the camcorder you can control (Zoom, Record, etc)?

yeah it showed a live pic on the screen, the frame refresh varied and got slower the further away i got. there is a fps status bar in the corner of the app. the camera has to be equiped with a tape and/or memory stick for you to do anything other than zoom pan and tilt.
