My Treo 600 locks up frequently

My Treo 600 locks up frequently. By which I mean that the screen is visible but won't respond to any input, either from the keyboard or the screen itself. A soft reset gets me going again.
Any thoughts as to what the problem might be?

whats your carrier? Are you done with the updater? I mean that could be just a starter;)
