I reinstalled my Palm Desktop and now I cant make it synchronize with my media files stored in expansion card. I can still save and view pictures in my SD card through my device but I cant view them in my Desktop/Media because the Expansion Card Items are not appearing in my Albums Bar. Any advice? Thanks.

Hi
I had a similiar thing happen to me when I altered the name of the SD card (I re-formatted it and changed the name). All I did was change the card back to it's original name.

Hope this helps

Does your card have a name? Was it formatted in your handheld or somewhere else? Are you selecting the card in the lower right panel when viewing the Desktop? Is your Media conduit set to Synchronize?

Yes, it has a name and was formatted in my handheld.
The card albums bar does not appear as if there is no card present.
Yes, the conduit is set to synchronize
Tnx

Does your card have a name? ?

Oh...

My card has a first name, it's O-S-C-A-R.

My card has a second name, it's M-A-Y-E-R...

Ahem, sorry. Couldn't resist.

I found and fixed the problem already. I suspected that the problem might be coming from a corrupted media file and when I deleted the DCIM folder from the SD card things went back to normal. The Desktop app now shows my SD album bar and is now able to sync and show my media files stored in the expansion card.
Thanks for all your help.
