It won't be upgradable. Sony never releases the upgrades (learn from the past, people).

Never say never. I wouldn't be suprised either way. OS5 is simply a transitional OS that allows 68k code (OS 4) to run by making calls to the native OS 5, and it does not completely allow ARM-native apps, only ARMlets. OS6 will still have 68k code support (PACE) and will allow fully optimized ARM native apps. No differences in hardware. umm, yes, there is. it may not have been an os upgrade, but it updated my hotsync and a few other system things.

Updates, yes. Upgrades, no.

Don't feel bad, I meant to write "update" in my previous post, not "upgrade"
