Does anyone know how to hook up a nokia 6310i to a tg50 via bluetooth, using rogers wireless. the bluetooth connection works, but the dialup gprs connection does not.

Any luck yet with this? I'm looking to buy the same pairing. Would love to know if it works. Thanks.

If ANYONE can tell us exactly how to make this work it would be a wonderful thing. I spent an hour with rogers tech support over the phone on the weekend and they had a clie-tg50 and a nokia 6310i right there on their desk and they couldn't get it working either. I guess that's a really bad sign.

I posted some instructions to the TG50 conference a while ago. They were for TG50 & T68i, but the settings on your TG50 should be the same:

I don't know where you'll find drivers for your Nokia, but I assume that if you Google around, you'll find some. Let me know if you need more help.

the settings for t68i do not work with nokia 6310i. it appears nobody knows how to get the tg50 to talk to GPRS over nokia 6310i

What, exactly is it not doing? Do you see any kind of connection progress? Does it give you any errors? For the longest time, even though I had all the settings right, the T68i would report GPRS parameters not supported errors--until I activated my data account.

I now have a t68i and it works fine. The nokia 6310i still doesn't work with GPRS. It connects via bluetooth to the TG50 with no problem... but something about the usual dialing string doesn't get the 6310i to connect to GPRS. I HAVE of course verified independently that my 6310i CAN connect to GPRS (my laptop can connect to it over bluetooth for GPRS internet access - no problem). And also my TG50 CAN connect to the t68i over bluetooth for GPRS internet access - no problem. So the problem is an interaction between Nokia 6310i, TG50 and GPRS. Too bad nobody has solved this yet. I don't know if it's nokia's fault or sony's... but it's not mine that's for sure.
