Well, I don't mind it as a launcher and I notice that it has 4000 skins while all the rest of the launchers have, like, 50 each.

So I have these problems:

(a) How do I get the skins to load up in the memory stick where I can access them from the theme control in YiShow?

(b) How do I get the jpg files that are used for backgrounds over to the MS?

(c) Do we think YiShow is comparable to other launchers in terms of number of functions and capacities?

(My own preliminary answer to question c is: No. Clearly ZLauncher has everybody beat for shoehorning the most functions into a launcher. But YiShow looks to be about equiv to MegaLauncher.)

Thanks

PS Is Yishow just a lot easier to skin, is that why there are so many skins available?

I use YiShow 5.2 on my T415 and love it.

a. make some directories on your stick:
/PROGRAMS/YiShow/Skin
/PROGRAMS/YiShow/Wallpaper

b. Use MSImport along with the MSMount desktop utility to mount your Clie as a USB drive. Then use Explorer to drag-and-drop your image files to the Wallpaper directory you just made (hint: JPG files have to be decoded to bitmaps for internal use so they display slower. Go ahead and convert to BMP first and save them to the stick instead - much faster)

c. It does not have fewer features...they're just not in your face constantly. It's actually extremely powerful and the file-management is extremely integrated, so it doesn't feel like you're using a complete seperate app. It does not have a standard-style tab interface and re-ordering of categories. To change the order of my categories, I added numbers to the front:

1) Main
2) Office
3) Apps - you get the idea?
