WLAN Driver and Hard Resets

Every time I try to sync the new WLAN driver machine resets and then locks up. Only a hard reset will restore it. Does anyone have any ideas? I have tried three times and been completely unsuccessful in using this update.

After a hard reset, is that the only thing you are trying to install or have loaded on? Many times we don't the whole story. I can say that two NX units here had no issues installing the WL100 driver update.

The only other item I can think of, is the possibility the downloaded file is corrupted. Provided that you haven't loaded anything else on your Clie after a hard reset. That includes having NO memory stick in it's slot. Have you loaded the other Sony update patch first?

I removed the memory stick and it synchronized fine. This is a new one on me, I've never seen this on other Sony's. Thanks for the tip.
