Hi,
Has anyone been able to HotSynch their TG50 with their computer via Bluetooth? If so what is the Make/Model of your Bluetooth device.
Thanks in Advance,
Jhason

You should be able to Hotsync with any Bluetooth device that supports serial com ports. I am using a Belkin PCMCIA card wich works great. Make sure you enable the serial connection on your hotsync icon and set the port to whatever virtual serial port the bluetooth device creates. Its pretty easy once you play around with it.

Plessdude thanks,
I'm still having some issue but let me run this by you first.
1. You should only need the BT serial profile right?
2. When you HotSynch from the TG50 which option do you use? Cradle/Cable or IR to PC/Handheld (Prolly not any one of these)
3. Do you need to create a special profile under Preference->Networks to use for Hotsyching via BT?
Thanks!

Plessdude,
I actually go it to finally work. You have to make "profile" in Networks under Preferences to use BT to connect to the PC. But for some odd reason if you tried to scan for "device" it would say it couldn't find one. I just forced it to use one.
Thanks again!
Now to get networking to work!

@ Sneezy
They are actually not that bad for a normal Hotsync. Maybe a minute. I would say its a tad faster then a serial connection but not as fast as USB.

Hi,
Now I got my Hotsynch going via BT I'm all happy. The funny thing is that the synch time is faster on my TG50 via BT than my good ole 760. Must be due to the faster proc.
