What you can do is that the CD that came with the Clie have a problem known as PictureGear Lite, install it and select Audio Player followed by Option and select Transfer. That should create a drive on your PC to access your files. Note that you have select Memory Stick as storage when taking photographs.. that way it will work nicely with PGLite. Hope that helps.

Thank you.
Another way is to:
1. Put the Clie on its cradle.
2. Tap MSImport.
3. Launch the PictureGear Lite in your PC.
4. Find Removable Drive in the mini Windows Explorer in the PictureGear Lite pop-up window (mine is drive E:\).
5. Click down to E:\Palm\Programs\PictureGear and you will see all of the MS pictures in the PC monitor
6. Drag and drop the pictures from E:\ drive to your PC harddrive.
If you want to convert them from PGP format to, say JPG, just click on File, File Process, Still Format Conversion, and then follow the instruction on the popup window.

The most important thing is to make sure that you have selected in the Camera program to save your pictures to the Memory Stick...even if you have PG installed on your PC, you need to have the pics on the stick.
wow...sorry for the rhyming...not intentional!

Actually, if you take pictures to PGP on handheld you can still retrieve your pictures. Hotsync with your desktop. Use PictureGear (on computer) and open up the file where you have the Palm Desktop installed.
Usually (weatever drive):\program files\sony handheld, and find your username, If it's two letters, it'll say the second word and then the first leter of the first word, it'll be a folder.
Open the folder and then the archive/backup folder, find the images (it should show a thumbnail), and click on file, process, still format conversion, convert to .jpg (regular, not the other type which is for faster viewing and less compression it hink)
