Problem with Skinning

Ok, so I jumpped in headfirst. That's what I'm supposed to do right?

So I downloaded SilkSkin and a few skins and it was great! Then I wanted to change the status bar to something else, and now the status bar is locked with an osX skin! (Not bad though) I'd kinda' like to change what do I do?!

I've already tried reseting from the program and a warm reset on my palm. Thankfully since it's so new, if I have to completely hard reset I can cuz there isn't that much on it. But is there something I'm missing here?

On a side note, what's the best skinning app out there? YiShow, ZLauncher, LauncherX or something else? I had LX w/my HandEra, but now that I have a Clie, I'd really like to have something more. Any suggestions?

I've ony ever been able to get rid of a stuck silkskin. As for the status bar, I believe there is a program for changing them with other status bars. Actually, YiShow has the ability to change the status bar.

As for your other question: I prefer YiShow. It has a book reader, image viewer, and layout options for icons. Its also very good for moving around files on the MS and internal. A lot easier, in fact, than MSGate. Some people like MegaLauncher, I find it ugly though.

i think there are two programs for the silk graffiti and the status bar: skinmanager and one other. just do a search here or on palmgear. there are also some sites with lots of custom made silk skins.

PhotoSkin or something also appears to do it. Works with NR and NX series.

Try SkinManager... its free (5 skin limitation) but with it you can preview VG skins and status skins before you load (and have to restart your Clie)
