You need to tell us more about what you have.

How do you connect to the internet now?

Who is your ISP?

What kind of computer and operating system? How many computers will you be networking?

Are you looking for WLAN or Bluetooth?

Networking can be very complex, but it all depends. The easiest of setups is if you have a cable modem. If you have AOL DSL, I don't know if anyone got that to work.

My advice us to search back through the forums, look at some OEM sites such as Netgear, Linksys, D-Link, and Microsoft to educate yourself first. It's not quite Plug n' Play, more like Plug n' Pray! I don't want to discourage you, but you need to realize there is work involved. If you have Windows XP, all the better.

Below are some helpful links in case you desire to go WiFi.

Looks OK. Only question is regarding the Siemens Wireless Access Point. Everything else is fine.

You might want to ask over in the Wireless forum about compatability with the Siemens unit. I did a quick search and found no mention of that model.

Having said that, everything should be OK. When you go and buy the WL100 card, just make sure you have a full refund return policy ... if it doesn't work, then you return the card and you are not out of pocket.

Reading email, surfing the net wirelessly, and wireless hotsync from the couch is a very gratifying experience :)
