I've uploaded the next version of my input area skin loader for TX, T5, LD and T3

2005-01-05 - Version 1.75: Added BurningFractal skin. Reduced memory usage for some loaded skins (by factor of four in some cases). Added 8-bit option to advanced colorize function to save memory.

Thanks Alex. I relaly like the MySkin. I find the extended keyboard very useful and it's nice to add some color to the virtual graffiti area. Then through in the home button fix for the TX, and you have a realy great product. I would recommend MySkin to anyone with a TX.

Wait are you saying there is a homebutton fix that is part of myskin? I want to skin my DIA on my TX and have found out that myskin will be the only reliable way to do it, but I haven't installed it yet. I have installed the homewithfind hack, which replaces the find button on the status bar with a home icon and a mcphling type popup. Does MySkin do this also?

Yes, it is possible to have status bar and dia from different skins. Use the merge options. As for ME, I believe that the program has to be purchased from exideas.com, but there are skins that can be used in conjunction with it.

Look in the Launcher Skins > T3 DIA section of palmgear.com for lots of skins, including ME ones.

I do own a copy of ME, just looking for new skins and directions for changing the statusbar look.

The recent apps list is just an interface to the one that the OS keeps track of. The TX keeps track of recent apps just like the T5 does, but it simply does not provide access to the list. My code simply provides access to it. So any extension would take real work. :-) I can see the advantages, though.

Ah, I can see that would be alot of work. I didn't realize you were tapping into the exsiting OS list.
