I have just purchased a NR-70V w/digital camera & MP3 player and I have sorta found that NO memory sticks out there are
compatible with the so called ,"magicgate" program on my clie. and i believe that this has to do with transferring music files . Now if sony made these PDA's , I would certainly hope that someone makes a memory stick that is compatible with this audioplayer program,
signed ....confused??

You have to use Sony's magicgate MS if you use the Sony Open MG software that came with your Clie. A better alternative is to convert your music to MP3 using any of the available MP3 ripping software. I use the free version of Musicmatch and it works great. The Sony software converts music to ATRAC format, which uses copy protection technology and requires Magicgate MS. The audioplayer on your Clie plays MP3 file as well as ATRAC files, but MP3 files are compatible with all Memory Sticks. The best way to copy your MP3 files to your Clie is using MSImport (included with your clie). The MP3s have to be put in the palm/programs/msaudio directory on your MS.
