I hope Chris Short can fix my UX50. I think I shorted the Motherboard. Ha ha, Chris "short" will fix the "short"ed Motherboard... :rolleyes:

I want to be back. I was in talks with a Source member about a UX and he hasn't responded in 2 weeks. I really want a UX but I'm not to worried as I'll have a VZ shortly, so wil Dragons :D

Don't you notice that the Sony CLIE forums are still live and active. The Tapwave Forums and Garmin forums are not this active. Shows you how dedicated we are to our devices. I know that I'm gonna try and hold onto my CLIE as long as I can. I almost made a mistake.

I have only owned one Palm device... ;)
I am going to try to get my UX fixed (I will tell him to look at the WiFi and see if he can fix yours, JA ;)) and I am getting a VZ90. I can't wait to see OLED for the first time... :D

Now tell me, whose more dedicated. Thats whats amazing about CLIE members, we buy devices and we stick to them. Palm users buy just to get a newer device. There is no bond like there is in the CLIE community.

Actually, I could disagree slightly here...

Back in the prime days of ClieSource, I would say that many Clie users would buy new devices.

The thing is that we Clie users have no more new devices to buy. Thus, we stick with them as you say. The Palm users, on the other hand, still have new models rolling out.

You've got to remember, this used to be ClieSource. And ClieSource was around for a bit longer than PalmOneCity was.

I would wager that 2/3 of everybody on this website who owns a PalmOne/Palm/etc. has owned a Clie.

True. I came after the merger so I have no prior knowledge of how this place was during the times of CLIESource.

Ahh, I remember. The good old days. I was sad when it changed to 1src. I'm not sure Clie users are more passionate, I personally think they are, but its easy to be passionate about a far superior product. Not intended to start anything here, just my opinion.

I never used to come here, though I made about 10 posts. Then one day I came back, and it was 1src... ;)
And 1src used to look a lot different also... :D

from what iremember, i njever liked cliesource because it was too purple and it was a hard site to look at.

BTW, Smeggie I got a new external speaker that uses 2 AAA batteries off ebay. Gonna do a review when I get it.

The bottom line is that *in my experience* Sony still blows all other Palm OS devices out of the water - and they haven't been in the Palm market for 2 years now!!!
