New to this forum. Would like to start playing Lucas games on my TG50. Could someone point me to a site or location that could help me get started.
Thanks

search the forums for threads about ScummVM. It allows you to play Lucas Arts SCUMM games on Palm OS

You mean a site where you can download them? No, you'll have to buy them...
I saw a nice LucasArts starter pack at my store for about 30 bucks... it included Full Throtle, The Dig, Grim Fandago and Sam & Max. There's also a Monkey Island pack (1 + 2 +3)
If you want to download them ilegaly, you'll have to find them yourself, I'm sorry.
For Palm ScummVM, go here http://capers.free.fr/ScummVM/ ( but don't download the latest version, I heard it's buggy). Happy adventuring! :)

I have several of the Lucas games already. My main question I guess was that you load the PC versions onto your Clie, and use this program to run them. My question then becomes where are the installation instructions for the games, ie, how do you load them on the Clie? As I recall, most of these programs had to be installed to work on a PC.

Just load the game, say Indiana Jones Fate of the Atlantis game.000 and game.001 files into the folder on your memory stick (you got to have one! Won't work without it!) palm\programs\ScummVM\Games\Atlantis\
(if that doesn't work, write the files in lower case letters).
Now, run ScummVM on your Clie and press ADD.
For the entry name, type whatever you want, for Path, type Atlantis/ (note the / at the end, there has to be one!), and for Game, just type atlantis. (in the same case letters as on the memory stick)
That's it! press OK, and then START! For saving, press menu, choose the slot and press ENTER or or draw . and /.
Have fun!

Ooops I meant atlantis.000 and atlantis.001 files! :)
But that goes for every lucas adventure! Like monkey.000 and monkey.001, those are the only files you need!

I got almost all the Lucas arts games that I have, to work properly on the NZ90... that is, all with .000 and .001 files like the nice folks here have so beautifully explained, but the problem is with games like Loom, Indy (last crusade) and maniac mansion where there are no .000 and .001 files but loads of .LFL files.. how do i get those games to run, please?
also, sounds works for all games except Monkey island 1. did the game itself have no sound?
thank you! :)

WHAT!!!! I can have lucas arts games on my CLIE?
How. What is ScummV? I went through the site mentioned on top. Is it like Nesem? You install the emulator first and then add games to it?
Also does Monkey Island look the same way it does on PC? Does anybody have any screen shots?
Lastly, where can I buy Lucas arts games from?
Thanks

4: Yes - read the Readme file for install instructions
5: Yes, but smaller
6: There are some on the ScummVM homepage
7. The store at www.lucasarts.com - look in the "Classics" section for SCUMM adventure games from the VM's list ...
