Thanks!

Welcome to 1src! The Palm Universal Wireless Keyboard is compatible. Same with the Stowaway infrared Portable Keyboard. Most Infrared keyboards should be compatible.

Thanks for the reply...I'm a newbie so I appreciate the help.

I looked at the Palm keyboard online and it said that drivers for the Z22 are coming soon - I assumed that meant it WOULD NOT work with the Z22 - but it will?

How does it work?

Thanks - I hope I'm not asking too much...

Who said there is no driver for the Z22 --> you can get it from this link and it will work:

Yahoo! It works - I went with the Stowaway - found at the local CompUSA. I feel so modern - wow - you can teach an oldish dog new tricks!

P.S. I went to Circuit City first - no help (except to tell me to go to CompUSA).

Thanks for all the help.

Much less of a newbie that last week.

I am thinking about buying this PDA to replace my old one, but I like my current keyboard. I know the keyboard and the Z22 are incompatable, but I was wondering if there is a non-wireless keyboard for it because I am on a VERY limited budget. Thanks

Hi, I'm a college student looking to try the Z22 for taking notes as school.

The only keyboard I have found is this one:
http://shop4.outpost.com/product/3598024

But it does not say the Z22 is compatible. But seeing as Jen has had her keyboard work from stowaway, should I assume that the keyboard will in fact work?

Or can someone give me a list of the keyboards that do work with the Z22?

Thanks a lot!

Will any of these on this list work with the Z22?

It doesn't look like the Belkin keyboard is compatible with the Z22.

The Think Outside Stowaway Infrared Portable Keyboard should work just fine though. It's listed on Think Outside's compatability chart. You can get it cheaper at Amazon though.

It's rather funny how hard it is to get clear information on what works with the Z22 or even other palms.

Z22 cpu chip is from Samsung, the only palm device using it. Will this prevent the future addition of an SD chip?

In the news Samsung announces another new chip:

The older keyboards that connect directly to a device are not compatible with newer Palm models as the connectors are physically not the same. The last models they would work with were the T3 and m130.

Just wondering how this IR keyboard can be compatible with the Z22 if the Z22 doesn't support IR capability. I think that only physical connectors will work with the Z22?

That is how world works. All are connecting to each other and specially nowdays in the technical world. Most these devices are very uniq and has there own parts from different producers to create complete pack what company has wanted it to be.

In the news Samsung announces another new chip:

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/APWires/tech/D8M976S89.htmlNot any other special comments. Just that they should put Samsung processor to more devices than just one. They have quite long run time, you know. Though I don't know about their combability with other devices.

I managed to get the Z22 working with the universal wireless keyboard, but it's only partially working. It will recognize letter keys but anything like tabbing is not recognized. Any suggestions? Thanks.
