View Full Version : Stupid stylus question

This is probably a dumb question, and I'm just looking for something when there's nothing there, but what is the other end of the stylus point supposed to do. When you unscrew the tip of the stylus, there's a flat piece with a nub on it.. does this serve a purpose like the reset pin on the other end?

Does anyone have a clue WHY the stylus has 2 reset pins?
Two are better than one. Sorry, just kidding around. Actually I have no clue what you guys are talking about since mine is for N760C and it has no such thing. Could it be a tiny screwdriver for unscrewing the battery cover, if the tip is flat that is?

It's flat on one side and curved on the other, but since it's plastic, I don't think it would unscrew too well. I used it to clean out the little dust and crap that collected along the edge of my screen....looks like I found a good use for it!

In fact, the flat portion of the tip is intended for people having too big fingers to rotate de jog dial. :)

I thought Sony made a special version for folks with fat fingers... It's called a "LAPTOP"! Ever heard of it? :-)
