I find I go to Agendus most of the time I switch on the Palm. So I am looking for an app. or DA that starts a selected program. Any idea?

If that is the case, why not just simply assign one of the hard buttons to Agendus? Say the DateBook button.

Hi,

I've used PButton before to do this:

Most likely you have Butn 1 and Butn 2 programmed to launch your calendar/address book. Why not just reprogram your mind to turn on your PDA using Butn 1? The TH55 on/off button is not its best feature anyway, so I try to save wear and tear on the flimsy button by using hardware button #1 to turn the device on.

Hi, I do not use the hardware button, because I never use the keyboard of my Clie NX70 as I prefer Graffiti. A TH 55 or a TX would have suited me better. So I fold my Clie with the screen always on top. With this setup accessing the hardware buttons is not as easy.

Thanks for the link. Pbutton is a nice application.
As for shut down, I rarely use the on/off switch. I have configured Resco Backup to exit itself and shut down the Palm. Saves me a lot of waiting time. After using any application, I just tap Backup and put back the Palm in my pocket. Resco Backup does the rest.

With an app like "today" you can make that pop-up every time you turn on your PDA. You can then set the prefs to have Agendus be one of the fields that shows up, so all you have to do is turn on, tap on the field, and you're in Agendus.

Opps, sorry. I overlooked the nature of the NX.

Yes, that's exactly what I do now.

I use it with the PalmOS hires skin:

I think Today looks much nicer than Agendus' Today screen - and I can put my other frequently used apps on the screen too - great!
