I've downloaded and installed "brightness fix" on my TX (thanks for the development of this app dmitrygr) but I think it only works partially on the TX.

When you lower the brightness with the slider, at a certain point, the brightness from low suddently pops to high living you only little margin for correction.

Is this a know issue or is it incompatibility w/ something I've installed?

thx

L.

p.s.
this happens using the built-in Palm OS slider and not the slider of the application itself

Instead of using the stylus to adjust the slider, point it to the right general area and then use the d-pad; it will let you do fine grained brightness adjustments.

Another fix for screen brightness on the TX is Full Power (http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=105588) by Mobile Stream. Just set it up in preferences, the adjustment seems really smooth to me. :)

Another problem with brightness fix is that after a soft reset the slider is all the way to the left, which is not the brightest setting.

The problem with fullpower (at least on my TX) is that when enabled, the brightest setting is not as bright as it used to be.
