I really want a case that has a clip (that I can clip on a pocket), but just has a clear, protective cover over the screen, so that I can pull my clie out, and without having to open a cover (flip or book) can use it. Does such a case exit??? Thanks!

And if that isn't too much to ask, can it hotsync while in the case ;~)

Well... my first thought is that you might want to consider a pouch (like the cool inCase PDA Pouch, www.stylusdirect.com or the Pygmy Pouch at www.pygmypouch.com).

Next, you could look at www.shop.brando.com.hk's "Clie T650 Hard Case" it is a hard plastic flip lid case that looks like it allows a hot-sync in the case. You'll have to attach a belt clip, however, but that is pretty easy with all the clips out there for cell phones, etc.

You can also browse www.stylusdirect.com or directcase.com to see if they have anything.

None of those really meet my needs -- I need a clip, so that when I bend over, etc, the clie does not fall out of my pocket. But I want to be able to use it immediately when I take it out o fmy pocket, hence the "open-face". I guess I might just have to get a flip-style and cut the cover off, assuming the clie would fit snugly enough not to fall out.

The only case I've seen so far that has a clear cover over the screen is the Otter Box. But that's more for outdoors use and is way to big for a pant pocket.
If you find anything let us know.

Get a flip style with magnetic closure (Vaja special order, Sena, etc.) The magnet is a lot less interference than the snap covers are. Flip it up with the twitch of a finger and you are ready to go- AND your incredibly delicate screen is protected.

I wouldn't put my Clie on my belt or pocket with the screen exposed. What if you bump into something sharp or hard?

This is not exactly what you are looking for, but interesting none-the-less. The Rhinoskin Flip Case.

You can open the case, even when it's on the belt. It is very fast to open after you pull it off your belt, as well.

Another option is a belt clip "slip" case. Sort of like a leather pouch that clips to the belt. Like a holster...

Thanks for all your replies. I decided to go with a SENA case!
