I recently purchased a TG50 with the NetFront web browser. I loaded the NetFront program from the Clie CD from Mac using Missing Sync. I am trying to use my T68i (Cingular) to connect to the internet using bluetooth. My dial-up ISP is Time Warner cable.

My Clie interfaces with the T68i fine - dialing the number to my ISP. The Clie says that it is 'signing-on,' but after a few seconds, I'm disconnected with: 'Error: authentication failure (0x1233). My ISP says there is a 'slim chance' that this functionality is not supported. Has anyone had any luck with Time Warner. If not do you have a suggestion for an ISP that works?

Thanks.

You need to have the data service enable (usually a small monthly charge) by your cell phone company, if you're using GSM, you band width will be limited to 9600 (Not quite usable), but you will be charge only for the airtime. If you subscribe to GPRS, you will get up to 57600, the internet service will be provided by your cell phone company and you will only be charge by the band width you use (usually very expansive).

I have been able to connect to my own isp via Fido with the data service enable. But I'm using Rogers AT&T GPRS now.
