readme to card

Hi, I am hoping to get some help to find a way to allow me to Hotsync the readme / .txt etc messages that are in a Zip file.
I have ZLauncher and the manual says that ZReader Lite which comes with it can read them but when I try to install to card I get told there is no app on my handheld to read it.
I tried VfsRegister but it does not seem to work either, but the limited instructions seem vague to me.
At the moment I just copy paste to Desktop/Memos, any suggestions.

Either a card reader or an app like Card Export II (or PFB, which requires a program on the PC as well) would get you around that problem. There are a couple of text-reading apps (CardTXT and SiEd, both freeware) that you could try and see if HotSync Manager recognizes them as "registered" .txt readers, too.
