cradle question

Hi there !

I just buy a new cradle for my NR70V. The cradle is not made by Sony (no name on it..but it have a serial connector too, and it's black)

Since my battery are 3/4 full, I plug it this morning..(3 hours ago).. But the charge light does not go off (like on my Sony Cradle, after some times, the charger light goes off)

Second, when my Handheld is on the cradle, if I put it ON, I have a "wave" on the screen ( you know, when you have 2 monitors side by side, they receive interference, and do a "wave".....

Is it Normal ?

Can I let the Sony on the cradle without damage it ?

I can do a hotsync witout problem.....

Personally if it is behaving as you have said I wouldn't use the cradle to charge my Clie. But I'm no expert!

I agree...I didn't even realize there were replacement cradles. Sounds like it's a dud!

To continu my story, I have a friend who buy a cradle too for his sj30 (i think)

They have wave too, but charging is OK

By the way, after I wrote my first message, My Clie come full charge, and the charging light goes off. I think it take more times to charge but i'm not sure....

For you information, I buy the cradle on ebay at the price of 9.50$US ( here, Quebec city, Sony House, they sell it 65$CDN)
