I have a question about using my unlocked Treo 650 to surf the web on my Tmobile account. Right now I have the $5.99 T-Zones on my phone, which I can use to check my email. I can also surf the web but with Tmobile you need to have a phone that has T-Zones on it. The Treo 650 doesn't. So if there another alternative to surfing the web on Tmobile. I have been told that it will come off of my plan minutes, which is no big deal as I only need to check a couple of sites once or twice a day. If anyone has any suggestions or has done this I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

I'm sure you'd find an answer to your question if you search the forums at Treocentral.

Thanks for the tip. That is where I found it. Basically you need to use a proxy server to access it. It is 216.155.165.050 port 8080. This isn't a work around or hack or anything like that. It is simply manually entering the address for phones that do not have TZones installed on their rom. (Most internet capable phones from Tmobile have a TZones icon on their menu). The Treo 650 doesn't but that didn't stop Tmobile from selling me the service for $5.99/month. So far it works great for what I need.

I pay $19.95 a month for unlimited internet from T-mobile. I'm using it right now.
