Cannot recharge my Clie!

I've had a t615c for about 9 months now, it was purchased on e-bay (new in the box) which I'm not sure if it'll be covered under warrantee by sony. My problem is this, since last week there seems to be no conection between the clie and the craddle, I can't charge or hot sync with my computer, thinking it was the craddle instead, I purchased a car charger for it, but still have the same problem, which makes me think the unit itself has some problems with it's connector. I managed to backup my data to a memory stick, but now the battery is down to it's last drop and I still can't re-charge it, what do I do?

Bad news. My friend bought a t615c on eBay and it didn't charge or hotsync. Same prob w/the battery too. We couldn't do much till the battery died. I tried posting threads @ ClieSource, but no one answered. He ended up sending it back. Hopefully that's not the case with you.

Before you panic, one thing that SOMETIMES helps is to do a reset while the Clie is sitting in the cradle. Just hold it in place in the cradle as you pick the whole thing up to press the reset button in back.

If a plain reset does not help, try a 'warm' reset by holding the scroll button 'UP' before you press 'reset', and keep holding the up button until the Palm screen appears.

If really desperate, try a 'hot' reset- hold the power button instead of the up button. This will erase everything, however.

Also, try a travel charge/sync cable or some other charging option first. it may just be a problem with the cradle!

I am having the same problem on my T615: cannot recharge, cannot hotsync. I wonder if anybody has solved the problem, before calling Sony technical support.
