This may be more of a Palm issue than Clie, but here goes. I use the built in expense app on my n760c for my business reimbursements. I've tried just about every third party expense app on the market. I always stay with the built in because I like the pre-designed forms that you can use in Excel. My question is in regards to these forms: can I change what categories show up on the list? I don't need 'country' or 'exchange rate' or 'currency amount.' It would be more helpful to have 'payment' type and 'attendees' listed. If anyone can tell me how to do this I would appreciate it.

I know you said you've tried every third-party expense app on the market, but have you tried ExpensePlus? I ask because with this software, you can create a customized expense report that is automatically generated when you export your expenses to Excel that includes only the data you want in a look that you want.

The only problem with this app is that its pretty pricey at $70! Its an app targeted at businesses so if you're tracking only personal expenses its probably not worth the investment.

But if you spend a great deal of time generating reports, it may be useful to you. They already have links from their app to customized expense reports for many companies and if you are an employee of one of those companies, then you can download the link to the customized report when you purchase Expense Plus.

Because I rarely need to export my expenses to an actual report, I use the demo version of this app because its has such a great UI!

Correction: I've tried every expense app that I could AFFORD! This really looks nice, but $70 is more than I'm looking to spend. It IS a nice program.

Yeah, I don't know why Wallet Ware doesn't offer a more consumer-oriented version of ExpensePlus, one whose price is more in line with other expense apps but without the customize expense report option.

Good luck getting more helpful suggestions...

I'm probably going to try the Palm website. They have a huge help section. I use to have a IIIxe. I can go in and search for what I need under it's help section.
