View Full Version : Mpeg conversions
I've been trying to play some video clips (mpeg and dat files) with no luck. I've tried installing it into the right directory with the right name and the right extension. But it still wouldn't work. THen tried to convert term through image converter but the message "selected file's format is not supported". THe files I tried converting where mpeg and dat files, which I believe are mpeg 1. Are there any ideas on this prob?

Get a program called virtualdub, free and easy. Problem is that your audio is probably compressed. Virtualdub can fix it, do a search and you will see how easy it is....

Virtuadub seemed very complicated to me, but I am the type of person tht likes to click next and finish and the like. I found a program after downloading and teting about 20 of them. This one is made by EO video. It makes downsizing to avi a snap. i will post the link and you can check it out. It;s too bad those CF drivers aren't ready yet, I leave for Maui in 8 hours and it would have been nice to have movies on the 3 cards I bought specigfically for my NZ. Oh well at least they are on their way right?
