hello guys...

My brother is interested with the sj22 most probably because of it`s size and the price....well it is known that the 22 does not include doc to go...right...so the question is IF my brother purchase doc to go from handango or other retail website...how does it will run on the sj22....from my understanding...it shouldn`t be a problem but i need confirmation from people who have hands on with the device.....my second question, is there any other software that can handle office files....if possible it`s free that is since palm is very well known for it`s freeware on the internet...but other software are also welcome...thanks

I couldn't make a 100% statement on the DocToGo compatibility on the SJ22 because I'm not using it, although I don't think there will be any problem.

Actually you can download a demo to try out before you make a purchase decision.

For other apps to handle Office files, to my knowledge there's none that's free, especially if you need both-way synchornization.

There are a few apps that could convert .DOC to Palm's readable .DOC format, though, but you will lose all the formatting and can't sync back to the original document.

Does anyone know of some freeware utility that speeds up wait states of my SJ20's ram? Ive noticed that Quickbits does this sort of thing, and Im looking for a freeware utility that does the same thing? Programs like Cruisecontrol arent compatible, why?

Try AfterBurner. I'm using AB together than NoStreak on my SJ20, it makes it faster and the moire pattern is gone.

I have a SJ22 with Docs To Go ver 4.006 loaded. It runs fine. My daughter has the SL20 so I loaded it from her CD.

I've used both Docs to Go and Quick Office.....like DTG better, especially the spreadsheets. It will work fine on your SJ-22. As mentioned above, download demo and be sure you like it first.
