Is there a way to convert .asf windows media files to another format so that they can be encoded by Kinoma Producer?

There are some new Wallace and Gromit short films on atomfilms.com that would be fun to see on the Clie, but they're all .asf files, which I don't know much about...

There's a free film called Soccomatic, for anyone interested. Here's the link:

Thanks...

I've only been able to get them convertable by sacrificing sound. But I think if you D/L virtual dub 1.3c, you can convert to avi, then to mpeg.

Virtualdub 1.3c can be used to convert ASF files directly to Kinoma compatable files (use the VP3 codec) - that way you don't have to take the extra step of producing an MPEG file.
If you can't find VD 1.3c, you can also use a handy little tool called ASFtools. This program will convert the ASF to a DivX AVI, which can then be converted to a VP3 AVI using the VP3 codec, or directly to an MPEG via TMPEnc.
Good luck...
