I have just upgraded to the latest f/w and after a bit of a fight with it all appears to be working again as before. But now I have noticed my contact database is empty on the LifeDrive. On the palm desktop it is full. So looking at the conduit list the contact sync is not there. I have searched every where looking on how to add a conduit and cannot find an answer. How do I get it to resync the contact database?
I do have Agendus Pro installed, but I can't see if that should now sync it and there is no conduit for that either.

Thanks Dave W

Yes, I recently upgraded to AG-Pro and LifeDrive update 2.0 have recently noticed that the conduit list has changed. Before there were seemingly duplicate entries, e.g. address book and contacts; now the duplicates are gone but the remaining ones are not the ones I synced with.

So Contacts is gone. My contact data was having sync problems. I turned Address Book on to sync and it seems to be working (my first sync was PC or PDA overrides the other, depending on the sync problem the particular conduit had. Yours will need to be set appropriately the first sync.)

Dave W,
I do not know if this will work, but it might. Assuming you are on Windows do a Start, Programs, PalmOne (or Palm), PIM conduit sync, Sync with Outlook; and then do a Start, Programs, PalmOne (or Palm), PIM conduit sync, Sync with Palm Desktop.

If that did not restore your Contacts conduit, try the following:
Stop the Hotsync Manager:
Click on the Hotsync Manager icon in the tool tray (usually near the lower right corner of the screen).
In the context menu that appears, select Exit.
If a confirmation dialog box appears, select Yes.
Find out the full path to Hotsync manager.
Perform a Start, Programs, PalmOne (or Palm).
In the list of program in the PalmOne (or Palm) folder, right click on Hotsync Manager.
In the context menu that appears, select Properties.
In the Properties dialog box, click in the Target field and then press Control-A (select all) and then Control-C (Copy).
Press cancel to close the property dialog box.
Run Hotsync manager with the -r option.
Perform a Start, Run.
In the Run dialog box, in the Open field, press Control-A (select all) and then Control-V (Paste).
Then type a space and "-r", thus the field reads something like "C:\Program Files\Palm\Hotsync.exe -r"
Press OK.
The Hotsync Manager should start.

Success. :D

Doing a sync to palm desktop reset it and all is well with the world.

Many thanks for your help :)
